Surgical Excision

Curettage and Electrodessication
For small, superficial basal cell or squamous cell carcinomas, this technique scrapes away the cancerous tissue and applies controlled heat to destroy any remaining cells.
Topical Medications
For very early skin cancers (or pre-cancerous lesions), prescription creams like imiquimod or fluorouracil may be used to treat the area without surgery.
Close Surveillance
In select cases of very early or slow-growing lesions, careful monitoring through regular follow-ups may be appropriate before initiating treatment.
